Art Workshop for Adults
Isabelle Ardevol
Who has not dreamed of trying their hand at stone cutting while watching the sculptors at the Symposium at work,? This year, it’s possible again!
After studying Fine Arts in Paris and training as an adult trainer, IZA - Isabelle Ardevol set up her sculpture school in Lausanne. She regularly exhibits her sculptures in foundations and art galleries.
Introduction to limestone cutting
Adolescent as of 12 years and adults
With a sculptor's mace and chisel in hand, you will carve the same stone as that which the sculptors at the Symposium are carving.
Creating a stone pendant
Adolescent as of 12 years and adults
From a small soapstone (very soft stone), you will cut and polish a pendant in the shape of your choice.
